One of five global hubs the Honeywell Software Centre develops state of the art networked building automation and digital video surveillance solutions that run on Microsoft platforms.  We are a leader in the development of innovative and quality software; this is an interesting role working on complex products and a great opportunity to work both on industry standard and emerging technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform software engineering tasks to develop product enhancements to Honeywell's market leading solutions for buildings.

• Tasks include a range of activities across the full software development lifecycle
• Agile Development techniques such as Scrum
• Iterative Development Process
• Provide responsive design centred customer support for software solutions developed
• Work with team members to find best practice solutions for software and processes

Key Experience & Capabilities:

• Tertiary qualification in Bachelor of Engineering or other equivalent qualification
• 5+ years’ experience in commercial product development
• Creative problem-solver, proficient at debugging and strong collaboration skills
• Demonstrated commercial experience in delivering web-based solution to an exemplary production standard
• Fundamental concepts of creating maintainable, testable software
• Backend and/or frontend development and associated technologies
• C#, JSON, Web Services (REST-compliant preferred)
• HTML, CSS, JavaScript, ReactJS
• React Native for Windows, Flutter/Dart is advantageous
