The Parent/Career Seminars will provide awareness of Industry opportunities to help parents nurture an interest in STEM careers in their children. A speaker's bureau will support community outreach efforts to provide information and share their experiences in the STEM industry.
Thinker Space is a unique, dedicated space on campus that is built around the idea of design, rapid prototyping, and interaction. They are multipurpose, interdisciplinary spaces that can be manipulated to accommodate projects or activities the teachers need to help invoke Design Thinking.
- Grades 4-6 will produce 2-3 integrated projects per quarter
- Grades K-3 will produce 2 integrated project per quarter.
- Projects will occur in Thinker Space and utilize content specialists.
Project mentors will support students as they engage in Capstone projects (HS level) that enrich learning and enhance social networks.
- Assist in the identification, management, and scope of capstone projectS
- Provide feedback and evaluation of near completed projects prior to presentation.
