Private Pension Savings 

Employees can use their flexible benefits budget for a private pension with Honeywell’s preferred pension provider up to a maximum value of RON 143 per month (which is in line with the annual legal tax deductible maximum amount of 400 EUR or 15% of the net income). 
The paid pension contributions and the pension account belong to the employee no matter the duration of the work contract with Honeywell. In comparison with the compulsory “state pension”, the private one is fully returned (contribution amount plus the interest from the investments made by the pension fund minus the fund administration expenses), per the regulation of the private pension fund.

​​​​​​​Life, Disability and Critical Illness Insurance 
Employees can use their flex benefit budget to purchase life insurance from Honeywell’s preferred provider to protect themselves in case of death, disability or critical illness and other risks:
  • Insured value of RON 50,000 in case of death or disability. Covid-caused death is covered.
  • RON 45,000 for critical illnesses.  
  • RON 1,500 for medical expense reimbursement.
  • Daily  indemnity of RON 50 per day of convalescence after hospitalization. 

Business Travel Insurance 
With business travel so important in today's global economy, Honeywell has secured a Business Travel Accident Insurance program to help support employees when they travel on approved company business. The insurance applies to business travel both outside of country of employment as well as outside of employee’s domicile within the country. It also applies to the accompanying spouse and dependent children.
