How long have  you been working for Honeywell?
10 years.

How did you start your career as a technician?
I began my technical career in the U.S. Navy and upon separating from active duty, found myself in the BAS industry as a technician.
 ​​​​​​
What do you like about working at Honeywell?
I have developed some great friendships while working for Honeywell and we have some of the best folks in the industry  working right here with us. 

What tips or advice would you give to anyone interested in joining Honeywell?
Opportunity is what you make it. Own your career and don't take no for an answer. Find a way to your goal. 

Do you have any hobbies outside of work?
Hanging out with friends and family, going to the river, and supporting the Miami Dolphins.

Honeywell is internationally known for its products and has a history of providing its employees with a happy, yet challenging work environment.  

How did you start your career as a technician?
I started as a Customer Care Advocate, then a Spot Coordinator, and then a Field Service Supervisor. My skills from my previous roles have helped me succeed in my current role.

What do you like about working for Honeywell?
No day is ever the same.  Each day I am presented with new challenges and situations.  There is always something to be learned.  My direct reports, team, and manager value and recognize employee's achievements.  We are all here to help each other.  It is nice to work with people who make you feel appreciated and acknowledged.

What is your educational background?
I have a GED that I obtained when I was an adult. Following that, I attended a Vocational School for HVACR and received a certificate in HVACR.

Why did you choose Honeywell?
I wanted to advance in my career. As a mechanical service technician for 20 years, I have worked on multiple equipment that is controlled by Honeywell software and hardware. I also know that Honeywell was not only just HVAC, but it also involves security and fire and that was something I am interested in doing. 

What do you like about working at Honeywell?
 My coworkers!!!! I have a great support system with my coworkers. When I started working here, the technicians I met had over 30 years of service. They have helped me here so much at Honeywell. The experience they have and are willing to share is amazing!  In my experience, Honeywell will invest in you.

Honeywell was one of my dream companies to work for when I was pursuing my Engineering Degree. I heard a lot of great things about Honeywell and its technologies from classmates. I decided to do my own research to learn more about Honeywell.

 Playing table tennis, cricket, and volunteering.

What tips or advice would you give to anyone interested in joining Honeywell?
Honeywell is an awesome company to work for if you really want to have an amazing experience, exposure, and learning. Please try to get yourself a place in this family. I always share with my friends about  my experience with the company.
