OUR #FUTURESHAPER STORIES

"Currently Engineering Director for Environment Control Systems (Europe) with a team of 23 Systems Engineers and Performance Analysts. I have team members in Yeovil (UK), Toulouse and Bordeaux (France), Hamburg (Germany).
At Yeovil we design, develop, test and manufacture a wide range of aero products and our customers include BAE Systems, Airbus, Boeing, Lockheed Martin, Dassault, Turkish Aerospace and many more.
There are upwards of 40,000 people in Honeywell Worldwide. Every continent and time zone is covered, its truly a 24/7/365 operation.
Honeywell Aerospace has product on pretty much every civil / commercial aircraft in the World. We also have product on almost every military aircraft in the Western World too.
I have been with Honeywell, in one way or another, through various acquisitions that Honeywell has made for the past 34 years. The time has literally ‘flown’ and I still get a buzz out of seeing designs that I created that are in manufacture and on aircraft flying… Honeywell will challenge you, but it can be rewarding."
Dave Orton, Engineering Director,
Honeywell Aerospace Technologies
Yeovil, England
Morey, Kim
"I am responsible for the execution of projects schedule, finance and technical aspects to meet customer requirements. I also drive design excellence in the design review process. I joined Honeywell in 2015 as a Project Engineer and with progression I now manage both the Project and Design teams in the Life Support Systems group at our Aerospace Yeovil site. I have been fortunate enough to work with several different customers and visit the build line for one fighter jet manufacturer.
In Yeovil, the overall engineering team numbers in the region of 200, with approximately 500 employees on site and we are still growing. In addition to Engineering and Manufacturing, there  are several functional skill sets represented that report to different management levels, some on site, some globally located."
